Buildings are places players can use for aesthetic purposes, as a bind point or, simply to stash their belongings. A number of them are found in the Starting City and can presumably be built outside the city as well.

Free Building Edit

Free building means a you are able to construct your buildings anywhere, within reasonable limitations. Buildings can’t be placed under water, too close to other buildings or on uneven terrain. Players can build by either using predefined or modular buildings.

Predefined building means you have to select a building that a developer has already prepared from a menu, and then place it where they wish for it to go. Once placed, a construction site will appear, and progress on the site must be completed before the building will be useable.

Modular building means you are able to place sections of buildings, such as walls and floors, to create a custom building. The building must be structurally sound, and you should make sure you have enough space before beginning. This aside, all buildings will suffer decay.

Decay Edit

Decay simply refers to the amount of time since a building has received maintenance. The building will appear visually decrepit, resembling a ruin. Decay will affect a buildings durability, but can be rectified with regular maintenance.
